Big News! With immediate effect I will no longer be DJing of an evening
I will still be offering my popular services as Master of Ceremonies and providing my famous Moodlighting (Uplighting) service
For the time being I am happy to pass on recommendations for DJs for your evening function and of course you are very welcome to book your own DJ. For those who really want to book a ‘package’ I have a number of highly professional, experienced and fun DJs in my contacts list who can step in for the evening party. I can check their availability and book them on your behalf if you need me too. Please note this is a temporary offer whilst my business transitions.
Why the change? Quite a few reasons to be honest
Firstly, as anyone who has ever met me will tell you, I am extremely passionate about Weddings and go more than that extra mile to help my couples have the Best Wedding Ever! Over 6 years ago I stopped taking evening-only bookings as in the few years prior to that pretty much every client had booked me for their entire day. I’ve spent these years improving my presentation skills and having such incredible fun providing MC services for weddings, and over time this has become my main passion. I have taken more and more bookings for Master of Ceremonies (along with music for Wedding ceremony, Drinks reception and Wedding Breakfast) and not DJing on the evening has helped me keep my energy levels and enthusiasm up
Last year I had a couple of health scares and the doctors have basically told me to slow down a bit. I can’t slow down – I love what I do too much! Having said that, the average all day wedding is a 20+ hour day for me, and that doesn’t include the average 20 hours of prep I put into each wedding. Giving up the DJing means I can shorten those long days, cut down the amount of heavy equipment I am hefting about and reduce slightly the amount of prep time for each wedding.
It’s an exciting time for me, to be honest. I can concentrate on providing an even better (is that possible!!) experience for my clients and their guests during their wedding day
